Are you this desperate to get something sweet?
Do you fight to get to the fridge for the chocolate or biscuits?
A good alternative is to pour a large glass of water and go and watch a comedy movie.
If you have kids then get them in a contest saying funny jokes.
Sit in the street and watch people. That never fails to give me a laugh. You will find something amusing doing this or I’ll eat my hat.
Get in the habit of seeing the funny side of things.
Most of all keep a picture of yourself as a trim, taut and terrific figure.
Ok, so you aren’t supposed to be perched on your butt all day. Have the laugh first and then do some exercise. You may be one of those people with busy hands. Take up an occupation that uses your hands. If you keep busy you won’t be thinking about eating.
When you think you need something sweet after the water just image that thing you are craving running around your body and painting it black. Then see big lumps of fat sitting up on your less trim areas eg arms, belly, hips and thighs. Oh and backside too, we must not forget it. Imagine how difficult it would be to sit down with lumps of fat glued to your rump.
Hey now, remember this was to cause amusement. Have fun with weight loss instead of being sad about the missed treats. Learn to love healthy food. When you have only had nutritious food for a few weeks it’s hard to eat junk and feel healthy afterwards.
